During the day the participants visited the Colegio de Santo Domingo, a national monument since 1956 and is managed by the Catholic Church. The highlight of the monument are its ample terraces and patios as well the church, with its prevailing baroque decoration.
Later it became the tour took the visitors through the centre of the city of Orihuela, through Easter Museum that contains a several of Orihuela Easter statues, part of its liturgical heritage and very popular in the area, with pieces from the 14th to the 19th century. After a short break in the city, the visit continued in the Episcopal Palace, where the Diocesan Museum of Sacred Art is located; a place of great national importance.
The most emblematic pieces of the museum are:
"The Temptation of St. Thomas " by Silva Diego Velázquez, that belongs to the College of Santo Domingo and has been transferred to the Diocesan Museum for exhibition. Of all the art collection of Velazquez, only 4 of them are religious works, including one found in Orihuela.
"The Insignia of the Cross ", popularly known as "the She-Devil" a religious piece byNicolas de Bussy from 1695 that stands out by incorporating a devil and a skeleton eating an apple.
Finally, about 14:00 h Club members could enjoy the typical "Arroz meloso with squid" in a local restaurant.
